Ursuline High School Announces New Pre-Med Program

American Scholar Group takes great pride in the schools we partner with and we love to see new and exciting programs to offer students! Ursuline High School recently debuted an opportunity for students pursuing a medical degree:

“This year, Ursuline High School is proud to begin the Ursuline Merici Med Program. Named for the foundress of the Ursuline order, Saint Angela Merici, this program will provide students who are interested in health care professions with experiences designed to increase awareness of the various medical career paths available. In addition to exposing students to potential medical-related careers, we plan to involve students in opportunities and practical experiences both within the walls of Ursuline as well as outside of the school setting with the guidance of medical professionals.” – UHS News Archive

Students who take part in this program will be building their ASG 5 Factors of Student Success, by learning practical skills and preparing their portfolio for their university applications. In the extremely competitive healthcare market, programs like these help our students rise above the crowd! We are proud of our future doctors and nurses!
