Spirit of ASG Pig Roast Not Dampened by Rain
May 23rd, 2017 | Student Event
On Sunday May 22nd, ASG held its annual Spring Pig Roast at Trinity Hall in Greenville. This yearly event provides our students the opportunity to kick back and relax before the beginning of finals, while enjoying the company of their friends and the ASG staff. Despite an intense downpour during the event, the spirits of our students and staff were not at all dampened by the rain. After slow roasting the pig for nearly twelve hours, those in attendance dove into the succulent pork and other picnic foods, eating themselves into a comatose state. “I’m so full of pork, I just want to hibernate until the next Pig Roast,” said one attendee. After the meal, students and staff continued to commune with one another enjoying their time together on a lazy and rainy Sunday afternoon. We would like to thank those involved in organizing the 2017 Spring Pig Roast especially the staffs of ASG food services, and of Trinity Hall for hosting this special event.
