Sophia Xu Demonstrates Excellence in Academics and Art

Sophia Xu, a junior at Cardinal Mooney High School, recently achieved several prestigious academic and social honors. Sophia scored in the top 99th percentile on her PSAT exam–a tremendous achievement that makes her a National Merit Scholar finalist. She also recently qualified for the Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament, one of the largest and most prestigious high school mathematics competitions in the world.  Finally, Sophia received an honorable mention in the Northeastern Ohio Regional Scholastic Art Awards.  Sophia’s excellence in both academics and art demonstrate that she is exactly the type of well-rounded student that American universities seek. The staff and students of the American Scholar Group are tremendously proud of Sophia and wish her luck in all her upcoming endeavors! Congratulations, Sophia!
