Students Attend the Annual D-Day Reenactment
August 18th, 2018 | Events
On Saturday, August 18th, a group of our students took a trip back in time and attended the Annual Conneaut, Ohio D-Day reenactment. This event, which included a live battle reenactment, living history displays, thousands of reenactors and hundreds of military vehicles, is one of the premier World War II reenactments in the United States. Our students had the unique opportunity of experiencing history first-hand while touring the reenactor’s camps, viewing the living history displays and watching the battle unfold as it did on the beaches of Normandy, France in 1944.
