ASG Students Visit Cedar Point, “Roller Coaster Capital of the World”
May 16th, 2017 | Student Trip
On Saturday May 13th, ASG students travel to Sandusky, Ohio for a day of fun and fear at Cedar Point, one of the world’s premier amusement parks. The second-oldest amusement park in America, Cedar Point features a world record 71 rides, including 16 roller coasters, and is the most visited seasonal amusement park in the world. Arriving at the park around noon, our students gathered for a quick photo opportunity at the front gate, before dispersing to get the most out of Cedar Point’s plethora of rides and attractions. Most of our students purchased “Fast Lane” passes which allowed them to by-pass the long lines for rides and get the most out of their time at the park. “It was so fun, oh my gosh! The fastest [roller coaster] was over 160 km/h,” said Ellie Nguyen. The students attending had a phenomenal time riding many of the highest ranked roller coasters in the world, while sharing the terror of this experience with their closest friends!
