ASG Introduces Gun Club

ASG is pleased to announce the introduction of Gun Club, a new extracurricular activity for our students to introduce them to the proud American tradition of responsible firearms use.  This club will be directed by ASG staff member Aaron Duafala, who recently received training to become a National Rifle Association of America certified instructor in use of the rifle and shotgun, as well as a Range Safety Officer.  Participants in this club will learn the essentials of firearms safety, the fundamentals of firearms use, as well as the operation and history of a variety of firearms designs.  Firearms use also provides the opportunity to apply principles from mathematics, chemistry, and physics in an engaging, hands-on manner.  Additionally, firearms related sports offer students opportunities for physical and mental conditioning while enhancing an individual’s discipline and concentration.  Stay tuned for updates as our students begin to experience this new and exciting extracurricular activity!
