April 18th, 2017 | Student Spotlight
Jayna Choi and Violet Pang, both seniors at Warren John F. Kennedy High School, have gained admittance into the Marian Chapter of the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is a nation-wide organization which recognizes the achievements of outstanding high school students. In order to gain membership to this prestigious organization, students must display excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Jayna Choi exemplifies these qualities not only at school, but at ASG as well, where she holds a position on Student Government and is very active in a number of student clubs. Violet Pang is also a very engaged student, participating in multiple art competitions at her school as well as volunteering at a local church and with the Young Chinese Volunteers Association. The National Honor Society also encourages continued student growth through encouraging active involvement in school activities and community service. Acceptance into the National Honor Society is a tremendous honor and significantly enhances a student’s resume. The Marian Chapter of the National Honor Society will hold its inductions on April 26th, 2017. Join us in wishing congratulations Jayna Choi and Violet Pang on this tremendous honor!
