The 6th Annual ASG Honors Banquet

American Scholar Group (ASG) staff and students celebrated the 6th annual Honors Banquet on Saturday, October 20th, 2018. One of ASG’s major dining events of the year, the event recognizes student achievement and encourages students to uphold standards of integrity and personal responsibility in all their endeavors.

Keeping with tradition, ASG staff and students both recited pledges. Staff renewed their commitment to put Students First and students pledged themselves to uphold the virtues in the Honor Oath.
The event’s keynote speaker, Dr. Long Yun, an engineering fellow of Westinghouse Electric and a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Tsinghua University, encouraged students to pursue their passions and interests beyond their studies.

Students that qualified for the American Scholar Group’s Honors Program were also recognized with a specialized certificate. (learn more about the honors program link)
